Warm Bacon Salad Dressing

Warm Bacon Dressing for Salad


8 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1 1/4 cups water
3 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. salt


Fry bacon until crisp; leave in pan, not drained. In a small bowl, add water and vinegar to the cornstarch, mustard, sugar, and salt. Stir well. Add to fried bacon pieces in pan and cook, stirring until it thickens. Serve warm over your favorite lettuce salad.
