Basil Bean Salad


1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15 oz.) garbanzo beans, drained
1 can (14.5 oz.) yellow wax beans, drained
1 can (14.5 oz.) cut green beans, drained
1 medium green pepper, thinly sliced
1 small sweet onion, thinly sliced

1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
6 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. minced fresh basil or 1 tsp. dried basil
3/4 tsp. ground mustard
3/4 tsp. salt


Combine kidney beans, garbanzo beans, yellow wax beans, green beans, green pepper, and onion in a large bowl. Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Pour over bean mixture and toss to coat. Chill several hours or overnight.
